This is the ROOT & REIGN privacy policy: what information touches this site, what we deliberately avoid holding, and what happens when you talk to Doctor Djeli.

When you use the evaluator, the text and photos you share are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate Doctor Djeli's response. We do not keep an account of you, and your evaluation is not stored on our servers. Your routine lives inside the code on your own Medal — the QR you can print or save — which is read on your device when you scan it. If you close the page without saving your Medal, the conversation is gone.
Doctor Djeli may ask about your skin, your routine, and category-level health context (for example, whether a medication affects your skin). She asks in categories on purpose: we never ask for, and never want, medication names or medical records. She is an educational resource — recognition and referral, never diagnosis.
We use a small session cookie to remember how you arrived (for example, from a shared Medal), and your browser's local storage to remember small things like whether you've seen the welcome page. We do not run advertising cookies and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
If you give us your email address, we use it to send you what you asked for. Unsubscribing works, immediately. We never buy lists or share yours.
Some product links are affiliate links (for example, through Amazon or impact.com partner programs). If you buy through one, the retailer tells us a purchase happened so we can be paid a commission — at no extra cost to you. No brand can buy a recommendation, and we say plainly when we feature products we earn nothing from.
We measure how the site is used in aggregate (which pages are read, where visits come from) to make it better. We do not build individual profiles of visitors.
