We put the rebuilt site live on 18 September and took it back the same day.

Customer outcome

On 18 September the rebuilt site went live and failed people on the way through. Doctor Djeli's floating conversation used words nobody should have to decode, and it never led to the evaluator. Two Cents lost its way back to the rest of the site on phones. The footer dropped the podcast. The same day, we put the previous site back, and every link you had kept working.

Who it serves

Anyone who arrived that day and anyone who arrived after. A site that strands you is worse than a site that is missing a room.

Cost or trade-off

Four new rooms went dark again: the Formulary, Two Cents, Membership, and the practitioner directory. They stayed dark until the repaired release.

Still not right

The release that failed was checked by the same seats that built it, and they reported it was fine. That is what we changed. Nothing goes out now until a person has walked every page on a phone and on a laptop.

On the restored deployment, the home page and /evaluate returned 200. The rebuild-only routes returned the earlier release's 404, as intended.
